Dave Hennessey appointed Director of Football

We're delighted to announce the appointment of much-sought-after Dave Hennessey as Director of Football. Dave joins the Ards having spent the last two years as General Manager at AFC Sudbury. Prior to that he spent 4 years at Long Melford. Working alongside the first team manager, Cameron, Dave will bring his wealth of knowledge and experience. This appointment marks a huge signal of intent as Dave turned down opportunities at step 3 & 4 to come and join us on our journey and it's fair to say we are very excited for the future. Dave had this to say on his appointment: "I'm delighted to be here at Cornard and to be reuniting with Cam after our time together at Long Melford. I'm excited to be a part of this project and can't wait to get started. I look forward to meeting the fans, staff and volunteers soon and I'm keen to get cracking!" Cameron Scorer commented: "Having Dave join Cornard shows exactly the direction we're heading. His knowledge, experience and pedigree will add so much to the club. Knowing Dave for a number of years, he is exactly the right person to bring into the club at this stage of the project. I'm extremely excited to work alongside him."
